Yes, in the Pannage season. Pannage Pork is the term given to Pork from Pigs that have grazed naturally in The New Forest, this is an age-old process, going back to the time of William the Conqueror, which sees the pigs out in the forest eating the acorns & nuts, which are poisonous to the New Forest ponies. The Pannage season is in the Autumn, so we would expect to have Pannage Pork in late Autumn.

Our shop collection days are Thursday – Saturday. WE DO NOT OFFER A COLLECTION SERVICE ON TUESDAYS OR WEDNESDAYS.

Our normal local delivery days are Thursday & Friday.

If you would prefer a specific day, please note this on your order, otherwise we will confirm the delivery day on receipt of your order by email.

Our National (Courier) deliveries are on a Friday.

We need 48 hours’ notice, therefore the latest you can order is 3pm on a Wednesday for delivery on Friday the same week.

Local deliveries, using our own refrigerated vans, do not require additional insulation, so your meat will be delivered in a reusable paper bag or recycled cardboard box.

National deliveries are sent with guaranteed next-day service with Parcelforce. Your produce will all be vacuum-packed, the box is lined with a sheep wool biodegradable liner, with additional cool packs to keep the meat cool. This method will keep the produce at the correct temperature for 48hrs.

Local deliveries.

We would prefer you to be in so that the produce can be put straight away into a fridge. If, however, this is not possible, please let us know of a safe place, or a neighbour to leave it with.

National deliveries.

Your delivery will be on a Friday. Please advise a safe place for the courier to leave it, just in case you have to pop out.




Our Christmas order book opens on 28th October, with the last orders taken on Saturday 9th December*.

However, if you require a Whole Turkey, FR Crown or FR Breast Roast, we need your order by the 25th of November to guarantee you any size of bird, if you order after this date there may be limited sizes available.

*If our suppliers run low, this date could be brought forward, so we suggest you don’t leave it until the last minute to order!

With regard to joints of meat, if you don’t see the size you require online (we can only show a limited number of sizes), please do order in a different way. We can do any size of joint you require!

Yes, please. 20% of the order total. This is non-refundable, except in extreme circumstances

When you place your order, you will need to choose a collection time & date.

It would be best if you don’t.

99% of our products are fresh, however, you will find that the Pigs in Blankets are frozen, as Ben has to start making these early as we make all of them! Colin will be making the Beef Wellington’s in November, so again these will be frozen.

On your Christmas order, you can only choose items within the CHRISTMAS SECTION.

We will be open on the Wednesday & Thursday before Christmas for your last-minute goodies, and the shop will be open during the Christmas collection days.

Yes. We will have two collection points as in previous years. The shop, and the gazebo. If you require additional items, please go to the shop, if you are just collecting your Christmas order, please use either.

Yes. There is an additional charge of £5.00 for this service. Please add to your order.

We can either; remove the legs, leaving a Crown, then bone & roll the legs. Or, bone and roll the whole Turkey.

Please also let us know if you would like to keep the bones.

Yes. Mike will be making a limited number during November. So this will be a frozen product.

They will be approx 900g, to serve 4 people.

Yes. We can buy in cooked hams. (a Gammon is an uncooked ham) We don’t have a licence to cook gammons, therefore we are also unable to cut a cooked product, hence you have to buy the whole ham, which is approx 2.5-3kg each.

Yes, all of our whole Christmas Turkeys, Geese, Duck & Chicken are Free-Range. We will also sell non-free range Turkey Breast Roast to give you a different pricing option.


Just for Christmas orders, the delivery day is Thursday 22nd, with a delivery cost of £7.00. We will deliver locally ONLY.
