Yes, in the Pannage season. Pannage Pork is the term given to Pork from Pigs that have grazed naturally in The New Forest, this is an age-old process, going back to the time of William the Conqueror, which sees the pigs out in the forest eating the acorns & nuts, which are poisonous to the New Forest ponies. The Pannage season is in the Autumn, so we would expect to have Pannage Pork in late Autumn.

We strive to deliver the most perfect produce. If you are unhappy with any part of your delivery, we would like to know. Therefore, please contact us within 24 hours, and Mike will do his utmost to resolve any issues, usually by replacing the product or refunding you.

Yes we do, choose the ‘Local collection’ option on the checkout page, then choose ‘Payment on collection’, and 10% discount will be applied to your order. (NB: Discount is not applicable on special offers or meat boxes)

Providing you give us 48 hours notice, we should (baring delivery issues from our suppliers) be able to deliver everything you order on this website. If there is going to be any issues, we will contact you as soon as we can.

Yes! We have lots of Gluten Free.

All of our Beef Burgers are Gluten Free. If you would like any other types of burger GF, please ask, however we will need more time to make them for you.

Our Iron Age sausages are always Gluten Free, and we can make other flavour sausages GF, again please ask.

When Mike makes ‘special items’, we will always specify if it’s GF or not. We do try and make as much as possible GF.

Christmas 2021 Online Orders.

All orders for collection/delivery Christmas week, ie 22nd, 23rd & 24th December, must be made in person, or via the telephone. 01794 322686. Our Christmas order book will close on Saturday 11th December.

For online orders, we will be delivering as normal w/c 13th December, and there will be a limited number of deliveries available between Christmas & New Year. Please contact us if you have any Christmas delivery queries.


Our deliveries are split into two entities, LOCAL delivery using our own vehicles, or NATIONAL delivery using a courier.


All orders over the value of £100.00 have free delivery.

All orders under £100.00 are charged as follows;

Local delivery is FREE to postcodes; SP5 2, SO16, SO40, SO43, SO51, SO52

Delivery to postcodes; SO14, SO15, SO17, SO41, SO42, SO45, SO53, SP6 2 is charged at £3.95


All orders over the value of £150.00 have free delivery.

All orders under £150.00 have a £14.95 delivery charge. We are sorry this is such a high charge, however, we are unable to obtain lower courier rates.

We deliver locally using our own drivers and vans, and deliver to the following postcodes:

Local delivery is FREE to postcodes; SP5 2, SO16, SO40, SO43, SO51, SO52

Delivery to postcodes; SO14, SO15, SO17, SO41, SO42, SO45, SP6 2 is charged at £3.95, and BH24 & BH31 is charged at £4.95.

We can deliver Nationally using a courier overnight service.

Our normal local delivery days are;

Wednesday – Southampton

Thursday – Romsey & North of the A36

Friday – Totton & South of the A36

However this is subject to change, your delivery day will be confirmed once we have received your order.

We need 48 hours’ notice, therefore if, for example, you live in Romsey, then we deliver on a Thursday, and would require your order by Tuesday, please.

Local deliveries, using our own refrigerated vans, do not require additional insulation, so your meat will be delivered in a reusable paper bag or recycled cardboard box.

Courier deliveries, your order will be safe & secure in a cardboard box, with a special recyclable sheep’s wool lining (which is in a sealed recyclable wrapper), specially designed to keep meat cool. Under tests, the meat will stay at optimum temperature for over 48 hours, therefore during its journey to you, which should be approximately 24 hours, the meat will arrive in perfect condition.

We would prefer you to be in so that the produce can be put straight away into a fridge. If, however, this is not possible, please let us know of a safe place, or a neighbour to leave it with.
