There’s something wonderfully comforting about a proper roast beef dinner, and our Christmas Topside of Beef is a lovely choice for bringing family and friends together around the Christmas table.

Our topside comes from carefully selected English beef, expertly prepared by our butchers here at The Farmers Butcher.

Topside is a traditional, lean roasting joint with a lovely beefy flavour. It’s a firm favourite for Sunday lunches and makes an excellent alternative to turkey for Christmas dinner.

Beautifully prepared, rolled and tied by our butchers, it’s ready for you to roast and carve into generous slices.

Whether you’re feeding a crowd or simply looking forward to a delicious Christmas roast with all the trimmings, our topside is a wonderful choice.

• 2kg minimum weight – serves approximately 8 people
• 3kg minimum weight – serves approximately 12 people
• 4kg minimum weight – serves approximately 16 people

Please note: For Christmas orders, roasting joints are available in 500g increments only, for example 2kg, 2.5kg, 3kg or 3.5kg.

Cooking & Serving Suggestions

Topside is a lean cut, so take care not to overcook it if you prefer your roast beef pink.

Season well, roast to your preferred doneness and allow the joint to rest before carving thinly across the grain.

Serve with crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, seasonal vegetables and plenty of rich beef gravy.

And don’t forget the horseradish sauce!

PLEASE NOTE: You can only add products from our Christmas Section to your Christmas Order. YOU CANNOT ADD ANY OTHER ITEMS.

Orders open: Monday 26th October 2026.

Last date to order: Saturday 12th December 2026.

Christmas Deposit & Balance Payment

A 20% deposit is payable online when you place your Christmas order.

The remaining 80% balance is payable when you collect your Christmas order from the shop.

PLEASE DO NOT PAY THE BALANCE ONLINE.

You do not need to pay the full amount when ordering, unless you wish to do so.

Christmas Local Delivery

We have a limited number of LOCAL DELIVERY slots available for Christmas orders.

Delivery day: Tuesday 22nd December 2026.

A £10 delivery charge applies.

You must contact us BEFORE placing your order to secure a delivery slot and check that your address qualifies for local delivery.

Once your delivery has been agreed, place your Christmas order and add the “DELIVERY ITEM” to your basket.
